Ultimate Lodge Look Finished Basement

What a fun project! The owner said he wanted an office area, a family room, full bath, wall space to hang his mounts, and some extra storage all designed in a lodge like rustic look. For the family room and office area we used knotty pine Pattern 116 - both vertically and horizontally, and used both sides of the Pattern 116- the v groove and beveled side for contrast. The ceiling was Armstrong prefinished plank attached directly to the joist, and the flooring was Artisan 9” Luxury Vinyl Plank. We stained the horizontal pine in Varathane’s Weathered Wood stain for a barn siding look. The vertical wains coat and the feature wall were whitewashed and finished with a grey glaze.

The bathroom features a custom built pine wood vanity with Michigan White pine countertops and mirror with white nickel gap ceiling and wall. A very cool galvanized bucket lav with matching galvanized faucet added to the rustic feel we were going for. The weathered grey ceramic shower with white accent finished everything off.
